LOVE STORY (Where Do I Begin)

....watch....the greatest love story ever told....

 John 3:16

LOVE STORY (Lyrics)

Where do I begin?
To tell the story of how great a love can be
The sweet love story that is older than the sea
The simple truth about the love he brings to me
 Where do I start?

Like a summer rain that cools the pavement with a patent leather shine
He came into my life and made the living fine
And gave a meaning to this empty world of mine
He fills my heart

He fills my heart with very special things
With angels' songs, with wild imaginings
He fills my soul with so much love
That anywhere I go, I'm never lonely
With him along, who could be lonely
I reach for his hand, it's always there

How long does it last?
Can love be measured by the hours in a day?
I have no answers now, but this much I can say
I'm going to need Him till the stars all burn away
And He'll be there

MY SPIRITUAL MOM....

As a Catholic,
I don't worship Mama Mary, I admire her virtues and sacrifices.
I don't idolize her, I just copy her great humility and obedience to God.
I don't put her on a pedestal above God, I respect the fact that God chose her to be His Son Jesus' mother.
I don't replace my biological mom with her, I take her as my spiritual mom.

Today, in her birthday, I thank her for taking me as her spiritual daughter when I was born.
I just want to say "Thank you" to her without asking for anything in return because she deserves it and I believe, even if I don't ask anything from her today, I am in her mind, because she so cares for me as a her own...

And I thank God for the gift of a mom like her...
Happy Birthday Dear Mama Mary!

THE FLOWER

This morning God surprised me!
He gave me a bright red pretty flower, blooming right before my eyes.
Haaay, si God talaga! So sweet!

Months ago, this five fingers plant was less than 6 inches, now she’s 3 feet. A few days ago, I noticed a big green bud. Wow! I was so excited, I thought yesterday, still 2-3 days will pass before she blooms!

But this morn, woooow! There she is, the petals are visible and she started to yawn, now she is a 4-inch diameter red flower with yellow pollen on the center.

These last 3 months, God said to me, “Be still, study and learn.” That’s what I do now. God is helping me to be patient. Waiting for His timing for me to grow my buds and bloom them into beautiful flowers.

Like St. Paul (Colossians 1:24-2:23), he made his own sacrifices to see his flowers bloom in the Church he served….

At times, we may not understand what's happening, but God’s timing is not man’s timing….God’s purpose is beyond ours….But God is the only One whom we can entrust our life. He knows when and how to make it beautiful like the flower, just trust Him! Promising Future!
