About Luisa

Luisa De la Cruz is a graduate of BS Architecture and Fine Arts major in Painting. Though a licensed architect, she gave up this career in Jan 2005 to dedicate more of her time to God.

From September 19, 2004 to July 31, 2011, she was a member of a transparochial Catholic charismatic community. She was member of its Singles Service Team (2005) and spearheaded the Singles Medical Mission in Talim Island, Rizal; a member and resource speaker of its Training Ministry (2005 - 2011); established and was the head of its Pasig Singles (2008-2010); Intercessory Ministry Head (2007-2011); Intercessory Committee Head of its yearly big event (2007-2010).

She is currently a writer in Didache and Gabay Scripture reference guides, an author, speaker. She left her community in July 31, 2011 as she sensed she is being called by God to serve in Church ministry...She is now attending Biblical and Catechetical Catholic Apologetics in the Shrine of the Divine Mercy, Mandaluyong City, Philippines, to get to know more the Catholic Church, her doctrines and teachings, while discerning what Church ministry God is calling her to join to help her keep rooted to Mother Church.

Aside from Church ministry, last February 2012, she became a member of ARISE group (A Road to Integrated Selves toward Excellence - "A" also stands for Awareness, Acceptance/Acknowledgement, Action) which is under the spiritual direction of a Benedictine Monk from Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines. The mission of this group is to initiate inner healing through the seminar-workshops, retreats it conducts where self-discovery, personal development and empowerment are promoted.

When she was two years old, she got sick of polio and her right foot was affected that is why she walks with a cane. Her physical handicap does not hinder her from allowing God to use her as His instrument. She wants this to inspire people. She believes that those with a handicap can still make a difference and people with none, can do much more, if only they will allow God to move in their lives.

She also believes that whatever God has given her, she has to ripple it. It cannot end with her so that others can also experience the blessing of God, His generosity and at the same time be aware of His Real Presence. Whatever she receives, it is meant to be shared so that the waves of love and faith in God shall be created.

For her, simple things are important because in little things, come big things. Every thing starts with one simple, seemingly unimportant thing. For her, in the eyes of God, these little ones are as important as the big ones.

She wants to prioritize the continuous development of her personal relationship with God. She believes, this is the key to everything in life and the purpose of existence of every human person. Everything is just a means, the end is the intimate personal relationship with God. She has been serving God since 2004. She loves to do this until her last breath. She has dedicated herself and her life to God through her partnership with Him in bringing people closer to Him.
